As well as being qualified up to degree/masters level, practitioners completed an intensive training course with our founder, James Tyrell-Nestor, to learn the unique theories and techniques that have been adopted by Premier League and elite sport professionals to ensure they meet our high technical standards.

The Treatment
Physology is based on the latest research (mainly funded in America over the last 70 years) into the soft tissues of the body which are our muscles, tendons, ligaments and everything in between. Most importantly it takes into account the role of the tissue that connects all these seemingly separate parts – Fascia.
Fascia (sometimes referred to as connective tissue) is not taught as standard up to degree level in the UK so most healthcare professionals know very little about it. However once understood it completely changes our understandings of the body as much as we once thought the world was flat.
We can treat symptoms at the root cause where no one else can and this is where our techniques come in…
The hands-on treatment used by Physology practitioners is very different to anything you will have experienced. Having trained 1-on-1 with the Founder of Physology each practitioner has the ability to feel on your body the exact point of pain.
Training is very intense to ensure they develop this ability which as you may already have experienced, is rare. It is only by feeling the point of pain to this accuracy that you can get feedback through sense of touch on which directions the surrounding tissues are restricted or dysfunctional.
You can follow this path back to the root cause which is usually elsewhere on the body. When releasing and realigning these restrictions and dysfunctions, this is where Physology treatment comes into its own.
